Through the Englcom course, I believe that I could get several improvements with regard to the language. I expect that I would be able to enhance my skills in this course through having plenty of exercises about writing essays. With the topics written on the course syllabus, I could say that this course will help me in achieving my goals, to speak, read and write in grammatically correct. English, I believe that having more practices and exercises could help me in achieving my goals not just as a student but as a person who is trying to cope with the whole world.
Reflective Essay #1: My English
English is a subject that I could say that is not so difficult. Topics on grammars, if taken one at a time, could be easy for me but if I have to use all types of grammars in writing, that is something I could not say a piece of cake. I could somehow understand essays, short stories and some other kinds of writings, and be able to know the meaning of unfamiliar words through the use of context clues. I could say that I am a person whose vocabulary is not that wide. I would be familiar to a word but it does not mean I know what it means even though I have come across it several times. With these things said, I could tell that I have a lot of things to improve with regard to speaking, reading and writing in English.
